Your membership starts
On confirmation of funds received (please email your remittance advice to contact@ems.com.fj).

Next step
Our team will contact you to arrange access to the medical portal. Singles will receive 1 membership card. Families will receive 2. We will GPS home address ready for any emergency call out.

Membership Coverage Period
Annual payment - 12 months coverage from receipt of payment. Monthly payments – Membership is paid 1 month in advance, therefore for continued coverage, 1st payment is equal to 2 months.

Who’s Covered
Family members as nominated on the membership card that are living permanently at the registered address. Singles as nominated on the membership card.

Services provided
  • Pre-hospital medical emergency
  • 24-hour priority service on Viti Levu
  • Emergency Paramedical treatment
  • Transfer to the closest major hospital with Road ambulance or Rapid Response Vehicle Critical patient transfer between Nadi/Lautoka hospital to Suva hospitals
  • Public hospital admittance
  • What's not covered (Members may request a quote for these services)
  • Islands other than Viti Levu
  • The cost of Pharmaceutical and Major disposables
  • Patient admission to a Private hospital or Private medical facility
  • Fixed Wing, Helicopter Air Ambulance or Marine Ambulance Vessel
  • General patient transport, e.g. hospital to home, nursing home, medical appointments
  • Patients that are not permanently living at the members registered home address
  • Non-medical emergency call outs
  • Payment of Pharmaceuticals and Major disposables
    Any Pharmaceutical and Major disposables used during the call out are charged directly to the patient/ family. Items will be invoiced, and payment conditions must be adhered to (condition of membership).

    Additional or replacement membership cards
    Charges apply.

    Member’s Responsibility
    Members must visit the EPS medical portal to keep medical information up to date.

    Cancelation
    Non-payment of monthly membership fee will result in cancelation-callouts during cancelation will be at normal business rates.
    Non-medical emergency calls prevent EPS from attending a real medical emergency.
    After a member is warned and continues to make non-emergency medical calls, EPS may suspend or cancel the membership.
    Membership may be deferred on a pro-rata basis (no refund for cancelation).
    Should a member not pay for any pharmaceuticals and major disposables used in a call out, then EPS reserves the right to suspend membership until account is paid.

    Reasonable Effort
    It is important that you update your phone number and medical information on the medical portal so that, at times of impassable weather conditions, floods and times of high demand we can provide aid over the phone or internet.

    Force Majeure Event
    EPS shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of any part of this agreement to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, explosion, war, embargo, government requirement, civil or military authority, act of God, or other similar causes beyond its control and, without the fault or negligence of EPS.
